Hey,
Haven't spoken in a while ;) I am writing to ask you to organise a fight against worsening internet censorship worldwide.
The internet in the UK is already filtered. A few months ago a page on Wikipedia with an album cover from a record called The Virgin Killers started 404'ing- that's how we know the internet is filtered. There's no recourse for getting things off the list and the list is now public.
"The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) compiles and maintains a blacklist, mainly of child pornography URLs, from which 98% of commercial Internet customers in the UK are filtered. A staff of four police-trained analysts are responsible for this work,[1] and the director of the service has claimed that the analysts are capable of adding an average of 65-80 new URLs to the list each week, and act on reports received from the public rather than pursuing investigative research."

They're trying to sneak this shit in throught the backdoor very slowly inch by inch to mitigate any resistance. The argument goes somewhat like this: we're only censoring child porn, you can't be against that. Now we're only censoring rape. Now we're censoring extremist violence. Now rascist views.... And it gets worse.
All the countries are trying to outdo each other. Now Australia is bringing in a new ban on small titties, porn that resembles child porn and requiring you have to post full name and contact info when posting political comments.

This is not a maybe. This law is gonna be passed in a week! The ACMA blacklist on Wikipedia is absolutely ridiculous. The old list included Poker sites, rape simulation and some gay porn sites.
There is a big group on irc.rizon.net #titstorm and Chanology has also joined in now. Please tell me whatever you decide to organise and we will propagate the info.
