A person working at the GSU Commons came and told that they turned people away who were attempting to attend this event. We had repeatedly told the front desk and security that there was a film screening going on and that folks would be trying to come and attend.

If you happened to be the one of those who were turned away, I deeply apologize for this embarrassing and offensive method of dealing with people on the GSU campus. It is reflective of an ongoing skepticism and militaristic attitude performed by the GSU police and administration, generally geared towards the homeless or 'non students', where they are not allowed to enter buildings, use public restrooms or any other public services on campus.

Again, I deeply apologize if you were turned away, and I hope we can offer you great events to attend in the future.

You can take a taxi or Marta. A taxi from the airport should cost approximately $25.00

Make a right on John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE - go 0.1 mi.
The parking deck is immediately located on your right.

Take exit 248 ( J W Dobbs Ave ) toward Edgewood Ave/ Auburn Ave – go 0.1 mi
