Happy Ostarra and Easter, and why is this weekend different all others.

Anyway, I know I don't post much, but with Dean Becker, Jan Irvin, and Aeon Byte's broadcasts as well as the other resources, what can I possibly add. I learn more in a week because of this group, than I use to in a given year.

People occaisionally ask what they can do, or what I am up to. Here is my coded response so as not to offend. Alex Zanders and Beth Young.

Other than that, I got nothing to ask except this:

Where do you want to take this group? Is there a Psychonaut or Shamanic movement out there? And is it best to keep it underground outside the all seeing eyes of your governments, monarches and religions?

Greetings all,

Sorry I haven't written in a few months, and I don't know what to write about now. I'm not thrilled with the default page for the group. I hope you are making use of the "Recent News" links because they are very useful. Particularly the podcasts. So I'm pasting the links at the end of this bi-annual rant. There is so much going on!!!

First off, it was a busy Fall with the release of "Holy Mushroom", "Failed God", and the 40th Aniversary edition of "Sacred Mushroom and the Cross". I also hear that some wierd stuff is going down, and that Jack Herer's book, "The Most High" might not see publication, as he is on and off ill.

Andrew Rutajit put out "Manifesting the Mind", and Jan Irvin has had an amazing list of Guests on his podcast at Gnostic Media.

Also this weekend, some my buddy Abraxas, posted some of my music at the end of his show, on God's Autobiography.

http://www.thegodabovegod.com/

The one verse you hear is about subject matter of Astrotheology and Shamanism, and hopefully I'll get more songs up on http://www.reverbnation.com/museoffire/
Soon.

More than Likely you have received the numourous links supplied by Romik and Keith. Great material!!

My new friend Greg at "Occult of Personality" had some cool shows recently dealing with many of the subjects that interest you. I was blown away by this one. Dealing with Comic Heroes, Gods, Myths, and Shamanism, just to name a few.

http://www.occultofpersonality.net/christopher-knowles-and-the-secret-sun-pt-1/

http://www.occultofpersonality.net/christopher-knowles-and-the-secret-sun-pt-2/

Also, make sure you keep up with growing phenomenon of Ayahausca as it becomes mainstream in churches in Brazil and Portugal.

The Drug War is becoming unpopular in the US, even as it is in Iran. Yes, even Iran.

I'm following Dean Becker's view that the large speed culture should switch to Coca Leaves, for chewing or tea, rather than perpetuate the harmful synthetics. If you know a speed head, make a suggestion to do the same, and if they don't like what you say, call them an Imperialist.

I'm pasting the links from the Recent News Page.

Appearently, after 40 years, Jan Irvin and the Allegro Estate have released an anniversary edition of <b>"The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross"</b>. Thats after being out of print for 25 years.

Dean Becker's LEAP radio show will keep you up to date on everything.

<b>Marc Emery</b> is in custody. Will Canada extradite him to the use for seed selling? And how much is this costing the tax payers of Canada and the US.

Hey Truthseekers,

I'm noticing alot of LEAP material posted in many of the videos sent me.

Check out the weekley stream/downloadable broadcast by Dean Becker of the Drug Truth Network. The stuff that is shown in those videos will be reported on his show first. I first heard about the cannabinoid system on his show some years back. Dean is on my turf in Houston, fighting the good fight.

Here the show at:
http://www.drugtruth.net/

Also, please help my friend Miguel with his show Aeon Byte.

This weeks episode was mind boggling and I wondered if the author has been reading our board.

When has an interview included : DMT, Gnosticism, Rick Strassman, The Pineal Gland, Ego, Higher Self, The Prophet Mani, The Corpus Collosum, The Matrix / The Black Iron Prison and Philip K. Dick.

Here the show at:

And help my brother out.

I know I said I would write back so soon, but this is more of an addendum to the last note.

Recall that I mentioned "Tylenol" as more dangerous than all illegal drugs combined? Well, they took Percocet and Vicodin off the market, not because of the opioid content of the medicine, but because of the Acetaminophen. It was literally right after my last note, that they nearly took Tylenol, Excedrin and Nyquil off the shelves too. Appearently, 56,000 emergency room visits each year were related to aspirin or acetaminophen, and 246 liver transplants. That being said, I avoided these medicines except for Nyquil during a bout of flu.

Here is some interesting things I've been reading in relation to the death of Michael Jackson. Of course, the Archons want to blame drugs, but here seem to be the perfect storm of what killed dude with the small nose. Maybe he is spending a year dead for tax purposes.

1) Exercise : Yep, this can kill you and some think this put stress on his heart especially since he was..

http://www.abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=8046849&page=1

2) Taking Vitamins & Minerals : allegedly eating little and he was also said to be a vegan. Apearently his vitamin regimen was feed him through an IV along with a..

http://cspinet.org/new/200906291.html

3) Synthetic Endocannabinoid (Diprivan (Propofol)) which was very safe drug last week, and the worst drug this week. Tommy Chong is 73 and uses the real natural cannabinoid, called cannabis, and he exercises alot.

(I noticed articles about Propofol safety have been pulled off the internet, so my examples are gone)

Other people noted the irony that Douglas Adams (a vegan) died at 49 during an exercise workout at the gym.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TZzq_Ekwg8

Believe it or not, this fat boy once had a gym membership and let me tell you that everytime I went to the gym, there was an ambulance there with flashing lights.

4) Doctors are the leading cause of death.

Here is my point. We all die. Thems the cards we are dealt by Saklas. No big deal. Everything that is bad for you, according to media, one day, is good for you the next. If you are entrenched in your culture and your family is happy and lives a long life, you really shouldn't be concerned about this stuff too much or let them get into your head.

Individuate. Be yourself. Be Happy, and eat, drink, or smoke what you want. Or don't. Its up to you.

Greetings All.

Sorry I haven't been active on the group lately, but I also don't want to message everybody daily or even weekly like some groups do.

Anyway this past Monday, John Nelson Palmer died at 62. His last words?

“I can’t believe Keith Richards outlived me,”

Shorly thereafter Farrah Faucett : 62 and Michael Jackson 50 popped off.

Keith Richards is 65, still alive and as we all know, is notorious for excess, particularly cocaine and heroin.

http://idolator.com/5244932/would-you-be-upset-if-keith-richards-outlived-you

I think this puts things well into perspective. Life expectancy has doubled in a century, for one thing, and we forget that we can die at any moment regardless.

OK, so we all die. Big Deal. Right? I think Frank Zappa who died at 53, once joked about waking up from a nightmare with one glove and a small nose.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKmGinWDqoc

Michael Jackson had a physical exam from his Doctors and was given a clean bill of health. So he was healthy, and from press reports, energetic. Now the doctors are clamoring to blame everyone but themselves, including drug abuse, before the autopsy results are reported.

Good luck getting any real truth from any of this.

Here are the facts as reported by LEAP. 1/3 of Americans suffer cronic pain, whether untreated or mistreated by Doctors and their goon buddies at the drug comapnies.

According to Leap, "Aspirin & Tylenol cause MORE overdose than ALL Illegal Drugs Combined!"

According to a group of concerned older citizens called "mamas", methadone is being perscribed instead of normal pain medications to older people who prefer opiate based or even cannibis based drugs.
Methadone is a thousand times more likely to kill a person than heroin.

Addiction to heroin amongst users is 10%, not 100% as we are lead to believe. Heroin overdose is easy to treat, methadone is not. Ibogaine treatment is illegal in the US.

Even a relative of mine was denied pain medication on her death bed, because somebody had a database that indicated that she had once been in rehab. I still can't get over the fact that she died in agnony while some quack doctor stood around.

Drug companies are not in the business of curing, but making money. Doctors love golf.

All the healthy food, exercise, yoga or meditation will not stop the inevitable time when your ailing or pain-racked body might require a controversial plant substance or drug.

A true "naturist" knows this, and yes I'm taking a pot shot at a few of you.

Finally I end my rant...

There is a reason for this archaic revival. The pharmacrats are not reliable. Half of all US bankrupcies are medical related. The need for a new shamanic movement has never been more neccessary.

Now the normal stuff.

Sorry for the intrusion. I have a few updates to make.

Jan Irvin:
"The Holy Mushroom" has been out for about six months now and with John Rush's "Failed God" is stirring things up pretty good. Jan has informed me that there is a spanish translation of the "Pharmacratic Inquisition" now. I finally got around to reading Jan and Andrew's "Astrotheology and Shamanism" and its freaking good. I'm only a third the way through and enjoying it. I believe there is now a second edition out.

Andrew Rutajit:
"Manifesting the Mind" is now out and its incredible.
http://manifestingthemind.com/
I believe there is second edition now out for "The Vestibule".

Aeon Byte:
This Weekend, May 2nd and 3rd, my friend Miguel has indulged my request to do a internet radio broadcast on my favorite TV show "The Prisoner". He will likely post it at 1am Chicago Time and can be stream anytime all weekend.
http://www.thegodabovegod.com/

His guest is this lady.
http://www.depauw.edu/acad/religion/faculty/Ziegler.asp

Shamanism:
I've been reading some disturbing things lately, about information sharing that may make receiving medical attention more difficult in the US. Its not just being denied an operation because of a pre-existing and yet unrelated condition. It could be cigarrette use, an arrest record, a previous alocohol problem, bi-polar disorder, a sports injury as a child or a soldier with PTSD. Which brings me to the next topic...

Knowledge of Plants:
Its really time for us to up the ante, and learn as much as we can about all healing plants and fungus, not just entheogens. We may need to know some things in case we find ourselves trying to help a sick friend when the health care system finally collapses.

Age of Aquarius:
As you know I believe that we are between the ending of the Age of Pisces and the Beggining of the Age of Aquarius.
So when did the Age of Pisces end?
Here are some tarot images of the card associated with Pisces and try to guess what day the Age of Pisces ended according to my view. Glance through them quickly, and it will make sense.

I got this message from Keith V. to share here:

"
This film is the first in a series of three films discussing various aspects of shamanism. This first film, Manifesting the Mind, is a broad look at psychedelics in general. Why are psychedelics so brutally suppressed in our culture? What exactly are some of the psychedelic plants and chemicals and how can they benefit us? With philosophy and insight from Dennis McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck, Alex Grey, and many others, this film is not to be missed by anyone interested in psychedelics and shamanism.
Interviews include - Robert Bussinger, Mike Crowley, Timothy Freke, Peter Gandy, Alex Grey, Clark Heinrich, Nick Herbert, John Major Jenkins, Dennis McKenna, Terence McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck, Dr. Rick Strassman, and others.

Greetings All,

I've been receiving alot of kind words lately, and have noticed a definte move from a fear of the solstice of 2012, to wondrous anticipation.

As many of you have taught me about Terrence McKenna and all the great minds of neo-shamanism, I'm reminded that he spoke of the Forbidden Fruit story as the first drug bust, not to mention his stoned ape theory. I've also found at least three other religions other than the abrahamics that have a Fruit story.

I'm sure many of you have plans for the big day. But if you don't, here are some suggestions for you to dismiss or perhaps not. Whatever...

1.) Consider acting out some sort of ritual play of a myth, either that you wrote, or a traditional story.

2.) Have somebody around who knows what they are doing, and is respectful.

3.) Consider, not the end but the beginning. If everything started with eating the forbidden fruit according to some myths, then it seems that this time is ideal for remembering the beggining however you perceive it, or write it.

Here is a quote from the Gospel of Thomas that illustrates what I'm thinking at the moment.

(18)
(1) The disciples said to Jesus: "Tell us how our end will be."
(2) Jesus said: "Have you already discovered the beginning that you are now asking about the end?
For where the beginning is, there the end will be too.
(3) Blessed is he who will stand at the beginning.
And he will know the end, and he will not taste death."

(19) Jesus says: (1)"Blessed is he who was, before he came into being.
(2) If you become disciples of mine (and) listen to my words, these stones will serve you.
(3) For you have five trees in Paradise that do not change during summer (and) winter,
and their leaves do not fall. (4) Whoever comes to know them will not taste death."

Five Trees (one is definetly a pine). Pick an entheogen, (or not), and commemorate the beggining, and to any gloomy folk, you will see the 22nd.

Thats my three cents.

Thanks,

Greetings from Kam Mockingbird

Sorry I haven't been more active lately. I'll try to makes amends.

First off check out this story about a paraplegic.

http://newsblaze.com/story/20090316132943stra.nb/topstory.html

When I read this story, it reminded me of discussions I had with my father and uncle, not so much about our shamanic ancestors, but about the uses of poisons in medicine, such as snake venom in anesthesia. It also speaks to my thoughts on duality.

http://www.vancouversun.com/Health/Stolen+native+mask+returned+paraplegic+owner/1402816/story.html

The point is this, I think, Subconsciously, I knew this was possible, even if rare. I feel in my gut that our shamanic ancestors were capable of this sort of thing. Using deadly spiders to cure.

But does this make the "System" happy?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29743064/

Secondly, you may be aware that the federal government in the US is promising not to raid cannabis dispensories in California. The medical cannabis program has pretty successful, and legislation to decriminalize and tax it there is a possibility. Other states are considering following California down this path, but LEAP is pushing that drug legalization must include the development of a local industry to keep the cartels from benefiting. Knowing US politics, this could be where the problem rises.

http://www.vancouversun.com/Health/Stolen+native+mask+returned+paraplegic+owner/1402816/story.html

Despite all this positive development, Obama is going to Mexico followed by the Homeland Security. I have no doubt that this will make things worse. No doubt, the DEA wants to keep their jobs too.

http://www.abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/story?id=7126415&page=1

The last thing is a personal thing. It was suggested to me by a member of this group to set up a facebook link to Reverbnation. I did so, and a few of you may have found my music appealing, (or appauling). Somehow, it was enough for Reverbnation to threaten to ban my account for "having too many hits", in other words "8". I'm not kidding.

So it would mean alot to me if you go to the following link and sample my tunes, and get me banned for truly having too many hits.

A Revealing documentary about the most promising treatment modality for drug dependance available. It is the only substance we know, which is capable of blocking acute withdrawal in opioid addicts as well as cocaine and alcohol. Although the FDA decided in 1993 that Ibogaine showed enough signs of being an effective tool in the treatment of addiction, money is the problem; this natural occuring molecule cannot be patented and is not a maintenance drug with addictive properties; reason for the pharmaceutical industry not to invest in its development... Hey folks,

Sorry to disturb you. I just want to send a quick note about another face group I started for those of you interested in law enforcement transparency, ending the drug war, legalizing cannabis, and ending some of the constitutional violations going on in my home state of Texas.

As you may have heard, people in El Paso are starting to become kidnap victims, which might seem less severe than the hundreds that have died just across the border. Of course, if the kill a kidnapped person, they been known to burn them alive.

I'm putting my faith in a guy named Barry Cooper who seems sincere.

He is member of LEAP, though not a speaker for it due to his DVD profits.

I'm just trying to shake things up, and would love to see a civil libertarian elected to anything in Texas.

Dear Group,

Sorry I haven't written in awhile. I totally screwed up by not informing you that Andrew Rutajit was on the Aeon Byte Radio Podcast this last weekend. Please forgive my oversight.

Andrew appears on Episode 125
http://www.thegodabovegod.com

He has a video coming out called "Manifesting the Mind" which literally has everyone in it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpHeQN9c_OE

Jan and Andrew both also were on episodes 31 and 60 as well. Please check out Miguel's shows. They are top notch and worth the few bucks.

Jan Irvin's book "The Holy Mushroom" is out and available.

http://www.amazon.com/HOLY-MUSHROOM-Mushrooms-Judeo-Christianity-re-evaluation/dp/1439215170/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1234237599&sr=8-1

Make sure you check out Jan's podcasts, and Martin Ball's podcast as well.

For those of you who have asked what I'm reading. I'm currently finishing up Martin Ball's "Mushroom Wisdom: Cultivate Spiritual Consciousness".

http://www.amazon.com/Mushroom-Wisdom-Cultivate-Spiritual-Consciousness/dp/1579510361/ref=pd_bbs_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1234237599&sr=8-4

Before that, I read "the Vestibule" and "Abraham's Curse"

I have nothing else to report. Except that Kelloggs cerals sucks compared to "All Bran" or "Fiber One" or other Post stuff, not to mention the Kellogg circumsicions.

OK folks.

Keith first got banned for "overposting", and I suspect the same happened to Romik. Of course, I'm not sure which Romik this was, because we had a few posters named Romik. But you will notice that our photo gallery went from nearly 2000 or some such to 37. Thats huge.

Our video and link posting section disappeared, so I posted a new video I found of some average youtube joe giving us some of his wise thoughts about christmas mushrooms and the posted section returned. Its now at 730 and is at least 500 less than before.

Its not the worst thing, I suppose because many of those links kind went off the topic of entheogens and shamanism, and the related topics of the prison industry and the drug war on families.

Now...

This presents for me an opportunity to give you a challenge.

Non-entheogenic and entheogenic Shamans.
Take a good look at your drums or percussion. Does it feel right? Does it have to be "traditional". Does it have to be a drum? I have a small ornate drum and a cheap tamboreen, and want to acquire a dhol. Even still, the guitar is my instrument, and as any mystically oriented musician will tell you. You do attain altered states of consciousness of a sort with music. If music isn't part of your thing, try to work it in to what you do. Just a thought.

Greetings All.

I just enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with my family, and true to gnostic form, The company was better than the food, which is not typical of these kinds gatherings. Maybe I'm getting to comfortable in my mindset.

Anyway, I just got a letter from Andrew Rutajit giving me the latest on his status.

Here is what he said:

Hey - long time no speak...I've been very busy. I just thought I'd update you on the progress of my film(s). The shaman film I'm working on (Alex Grey, Daniel Pinchbeck, Dennis McKenna, John Major Jenkins, Tim Freke, Peter Gandy, and others) should be complete by Christmas. I wish I could wrap it up by the time to purchase it as a Christmas gift, but I'm afraid that won't happen. I have two more interviews to complete before I wrap up the entire production progress for these three films...pretty exciting stuff!

I also just purchased all of the footage (some 50 hours of footage) from the Coalessence Festival from last October. I'll be producing several DVDs from that very soon! Lots of bands (Kamani Marley, Rabbit in the Moon, BT, Kannal, DJ Spooky, and many others). Also we will be producing some DVDs from that of speakers (Alex Grey, Dennis McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck, myself and others).

Pay attention to WAS3 Media because we will soon be launching our online store where these will be sold.

Oh and I will also be distributing a very interesting film by Simon G Powell called Metanoia. It's about how nature is an intelligent creature:

"Simon G. Powell has become a cogent proselytiser for mushrooms as
our ecological redeemers." ~ Andy Letcher - Author of "Shroom"

2009 is going to be a very big year for the psychedelic community when it comes to media!! I can't wait!

Greetings Fellow Shaman, Curanderos, Bishops, Mystics and Psychonauts.

I just want to alert you to a few things. First off, the first few episodes of Jan Irvin's podcast were excellent, but please check out Martin Ball podcast of "The Entheogenic Evolution".

http://entheogenic.podomatic.com/

Read the summary, because it fits with what we are trying to do here. I should add he has gone through a Shamanic initiation ritual with the native americans, so he ain't playing around.

<b>The Drug War on People</b>
For those of you who seen "American Drug War: the Last White Hope", the DEA agent featured in the film, is now being harrassed, himself by law enforcement.

http://narcosphere.narconews.com/notebook/bill-conroy/2008/11/us-government-finally-exacts-revenge-irancontra-whistleblower-cele-cast

I found out about this on Dean Becker's Houston based show. In case you don't know, Houston Texas is where I'm from and we have a reputation for throwing everyone away eventually. Which is why Dick Cheney was indicted here in Texas by a bunch of old white people for his ties to GEO Group. He will likely beat the wrap.

Please check out his interviews, especially with Cele Castillo and John Stossel.

Greetings Fellow Shamans, Psychonauts, and Glad Scientists!

I looked up into the evening sky above my house and there was Orion's belt which told me that it must be November.

Here are some notes I'd like to make:

Kenneth Rau
I have not received word from Ken in some time. After his arrest for possession of Diviner's Sage in the Peoples Republik of North Dakota, he lost his job and was immediately evicted, proving that the accused are guilty before proven innocent. I don't think his case went well despite some interest expressed to me by the ACLU and others in his case.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_Salvia_divinorum#Kenneth_Rau

Andrew Rutajit
The last I heard, Andrew is busy in the editing room cutting his next DVD. I recently read the Vestibule, and there should be a second edition out soon if its not already.

http://www.amazon.com/Vestibule-Andrew-Rutajit/dp/0615143989/ref=sr_1_2/002-2296380-8756806?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179419044&sr=1-2

Jan Irvin
Jan has just joined our little group and pre-order version of his new book, The Holy Mushroom is finally out.

http://www.gnosticmedia.com/

He also recommends "Failed God" by John Rush as a companion.

Conspiracy Theories
I've been getting alot of emails and stuff dealing with other people's conspiracy theories, and thats all fine and good. I'm not clear on why monarchies persist if they are all hostile reptilian alien overlords. The English say its good for tourism.

My two favorite books on the subject are:

http://www.amazon.com/New-Inquisitions-Heretic-Hunting-Intellectual-Totalitarianism/dp/0195306376/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226729160&sr=1-4

Me.
I'm still working on mixdowns of my band's music. If there are any graphics artists who want to get involved, let me know. The music is contemplative prog (nearly classic, slightly psychedelic) and uncharacteristically positive. Check out my buddy Miguel with this weeks guest. http://www.thegodabovegod.com/

Keith Villenueve.
Keith is still missing in action, and will return when he is ready. We got into a discussion about Patron Gods, Angels and Demons. I then sent him a picture of a deity who was very popular and will likely make a comeback.

Hey Folks,

Just a couple of quick notes I want to share. This group has Quadrupled in just a few months. We have over a thousand postings on this group with resources on the curative powers of shamanic plants.

Certain topics we have dealt with.

The bigotry and greed that initiated the drug war, and how it is also a war on religion ie shamanism.

How Ibogaine is currently the best known treatment for Addictions, and how both ibogaine and ayahuasca have profound possibilities in psychotherapy.

The theraputic promise of Salvia Divinorum, Psilocybin, Cannabis Sativa, and other entheogens.

How Christmas, Santa Claus and Christianity share their origins with an age old shamanic tradition involving a cute little mushroom.

An a optimism in a what comes after the winter solstace initiation of 2012.

Support Certain Sites
Please visit Andrew Rutajit, Blue Honey, and Gnostic Media's sites and support them by picking up a book, video or some amanita christamas cards. They have given me no grief over the use of their logo, knowing that its on this page, so the least I can do is direct you to these wonderful people.

Aeon Byte:
My Friend Abraxas-Miguel Conner is a one-man army for the "Revolution for Hypatia". Each weekend he posts a new episode of his radio show Aeon Byte. He has done an amazing 112 or so episodes in two years. Dealing with every conceivable Jesus Theory, Esoteric School and progressive novelist of the last few years. Please listen to his weekly weekend broadcast and definetly shell out for his stunning past episodes. I've listened through all the episodes several times and its like re-experiencing Joseph Campbell's the Power of Myth all over again but in new and profound ways. Andrew Rutajit, Allen Greenfield, Robert Price, Stephan Herman Huller and Arthur Versluis are among my favorites.

Please enjoy all the postings on this facebook group.

Thanks,

Greetings All,

Well, these are exciting times we are lliving. Our membership mushroomed to 930 from 265 back in July.

New Members
Here is my normal message about the posted items. To get a good idea about this group and how it started check out the earliest postings toward the newest. Alot of those deal with the concealed health benefits of entheogens, and the transformative powers of these sacred plants. Keith, Chris, Terry and I were posting like mad this time last year.

Archeology
A bowl was found in Alexandria that dates somewhere between 200BC and 100AD, and has the inscription "By Christ the Magickian". Am I surprised? No. I was waiting for some evidence that christianity began as an Alexandrian Mystery School, and this is pretty damn good. The inscription sounds like a magickal formula. It the earliest reference to Christ and its right there in the heart of Mystery School Central. No Doubt Timothy Freke is doing a dance right now.

http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/10/01/jesus-bowl.html

The question is, what did they put in that bowl? Kykeon Elixer? Might there be muscumol, ibotenic acid or ergot traces in that sacred grail?

Sarah Palin
Everyone is having a field day with our new Vice Presidential pick. No one so much as Esoteric Writer Lon Milo Duquette who would like you to add the values of her name.

Greetings!!! Everyone!

Wow, one week ago we had 260 members, now we have 657. Thank all of You!!!

Quick notes:
OK, I promised that I wouldn't keep sending these notices, but since we have 150 new members since then I thought that I should.

Once again, new members should look into our oldest posted items and photos first to see how this group developed. Alot of those early postings dealt with mushroom use in christianity, and the medicinal uses of Ibogaine and Ayahuasca. Entheogens have so much potential not only to cure addiction but also in the treatment of OCD, ADD, depression and bipolar disorder. And then there is Paul Stamets.

Books:
A new book out in England, disputes the ideas about Santa, the Reindeer and Siberia. How ironic that there is a video on Youtube of the Koryak Shaman talking around a table of Fly Agaric about gathering reindeer urine? We have to question Academia as well as Authority in this day and age.

Two new books, one by Jack Herer and another by Jan Irvin should put this to rest. Jack Herer is supposed to have out a book called "The Most High" and Jan Irvin is releasing "The Holy Mushroom".

Commercial stuff and Spamming:
OK, rather than posting your stuff to the Wall, I'm going to set up a thread called "Community Wares". If you got good stuff or recommendations, you shouldn't have to come off like a spammer by blasting the wall with your facegroups or products. I know we have at least two Authors on this group, and I think a couple of Peruvian shaman who run Ayhuasca tours. I take no responsiblity for any of this. I just want to create a nice sense of community.

Thanks again everyone!

Ok, I don't know what happened, but I just got back from a weekend trip and we now have 249 new members. Hopefully the shock will wear off soon. There must be a programming error or something.

New Members
As I often say to new members, check out our exhuastive list of videos and links in the "posted items" going from oldest to newest to see how this group developed.

Jan Irvin
I spoke recently with Jan Irvin about newer subtitled translations of the Documentary. He is a busy fellow, so if anyone is interested and inspired enough to form translation / video editing teams for subtitles in a particular language. He might be willing to part with a written transcript for this purpose. Jan is about to release a new book called "The Holy Mushroom" about the debates between Wasson and Allegro.

Andrew Rutajit
Andrew is about to release a second eddition to "The Vestibule" and is working on a new Documentary.

Paul Stamets

International Censorship
If you can find good entheogenic/shamanic videos on google videos rather than youtube, those persons living in blocked countries would greatly appreciate it.

Septemeber 11th
I would like to commemorate this date when in 9 C.E some 1999 years ago, The battle of Tutenberg forrest ended. Oh, and 7 years ago the Age of Pisces ended. On Sept 12th 1213, Battle of Muret when Peter II of Aragon came to the aid of Cathars being harrassed by Crusaders. King Peter died that day and I want to give him a shout out. Hail!

Thanks All for making this group so successful, and one of the best on Facebook.
