------------
Great artists throughout history have immersed themselves in God's Nature Field and each shared their unique painterly portrayal. Van Gogh channeled the rhythms of the cosmos in his brushstrokes. Georgia O'Keefe revealed the mystery of the Divine Feminine in a flower. Fredrick Church, a master of the Hudson River School, demonstrated the majesty and power of the waterfalls and exquisite beauty of our region. We will draw and paint the splendor of fall colors at CoSM, from a leaf, to a tree, to a forest.
This workshop will examine both Eastern and Western approaches to the
contemplation and representation of elemental regenerative forces. Artists of
all experience levels are welcome. Explore and share your own unique relationship
to God's greatest creation and the sacredness of Mother Nature's womb.
