(soon you will get invite, first take time for this LONG letter in not so good Englsih lol)
Hello, sorry i haven't reply long time - but here i am. I choose from 40+ people 4 people to give opportunity to be Latvian page admin - i hope all of you will get a long well! I will add everyone short description here - i expect you all add yourself to separate friend list as "Latvian Admins" or something like that so you will be able to find and see other online admins easily and coordinate the administrating (as i have over 400 friends here it's pretty much impossible to live white out lists, it makes life so simple - also you can then simply send email to everyone at one time by typing in Latvian Admins).
All of you of course must add me as friend or i will not be able to add you as admin =)
No one has some responsibility what they MUST do - everything is voluntary.
There is many things however you are not allowed to do - one of the main thing is personal attacks, hate speech (against anyone black people, gays, nazis, communist etc - for last 2 intelligent criticism and bold facts are allowed.
There should be no propaganda for extreme political views (left, far right), religion. News should be as balanced as possible - if needed admin should add extra comments to the post to clearafay the news.
Most of the post's should show Latvian in good light, show friendliness and opportunities that Latvia has. Kind nationalistic tone is allowed as long it's not far out, don't forget this page is also advertisement for other people who might want to visit Latvia.
One other important thing is - there should be no censor as long the post is not spam or advertisement. Advertisements are only then allowed if other group/page is posting Latvia page link to their description /favorites.
I have noticed in facebook there is some people who spread lies and propaganda about soviet history - like Baltic contrives wanted them here and there was no occupation. - i know it's hard to listen this but it's really important this posts will get intelligent historical reply's.
Things you can consider to upgrade first:
description & page information, page picture, add some callerys, add some videos. Would be also great to keep event calendar. make good forum post about important things (take look for Estonia page for example - not best example but its almost, i am sore you 4 can do better job them me alone)
Applications to add and use: MP3 player (Estonia page), poll (Russian Page has it but is not really used currently), You tube player (there is many but i think this one is good i use in Estonia page). Other applications can also be added - try to add only these applications that do not require users to ADD the application because most of the users will not like it.
One other thing - every admin on their post must add end of the post their name initials (G.R. / J.B / etc.. ) - it's specially important in start.
So be ready to start promoting Latvian page (not yet... first let's pimp it!)
Here is new future admins:

Hi,
Sorry I did not respond earlier.
I speak Latvian, English, Russian, some German and Lithuanian (a little)
Now I live in Riga, Latvia (for a year), will move to Philadelphia, USA in August
I spend a couple hours on Facebook every week. Maybe a half an hour to an hour per day.
I have around 60 friends on Facebook, some of them Latvians. I think I would be able to promote Latvian page.
I listen to news on Latvian TV and radio, as well as read Latvian newspaper Diena (Day). I also watch BBC world news and read New York Times.
I do not belong to any political party. My political views are pretty democratic.
Latvian is my mother tongue. I know history pretty well.
Since I am living now in Latvia, I know quite a lot about current political situation.
I am not planning to be a politician so I cannot say if I would be a good or a bad one. If I would have to be one though, I would try to do my best, of course.
Yes, I use some search engines, mostly google, when I need to find something out/clarify something.
Latvian related news portals: www.apollo.lv, www.delfi.lv
Best,
Guna
