Yes, but that's the truth of our life today, the more complicated apps are, the more difficult it is to make them user-friendly :) everyone is trying to simplify, which makes it all just more difficult to understand for users. I'm no designer, but I guess it's VERY difficult to make clear interface these days.

Hmm but when I just now checked this issue by blocking my test account, the chat did not move to archived folder. And I was able to save it without any problems or changing the folder in the Options. It was just a guess when I advised you to do it.

specially as in beginning, if someone else blocks, it moves not to archived folder in FB but stays in normal message list

For programmer mind , is easy to figure this out, for a new user, rare if someone would come to it

Nope, checking all the folders takes too long time, I especially moved it to the Options.

Weird I just checked it on my test account, the exntesion could save chats even if one user blocked the other.

if you need help for that, i can give access again, but you can perhaps test also by locking conversation and then try to export

eg the message ends with blocking,

then these messages also the plugin is unable to export

Yes! Managed to save our chat. So far it will only work for the Inbox folder. I will later add the option of choosing a folder to the Options. Otherwise, if there are really many chats in Inbox and in Archived folders, it takes too much time to wait while the extension finds the needed chat. I will push an update and you will be able to check yourself.

By group posts you mean saving Facebook posts? If so, there is a Windows exe program which lets users do this. I didn't test it much but I guess it will suit your purpose. It's not open source, so you will have to pay for it, but I guess there's some trial period. Here's a link http://www.personalgroupware.com/ . I got to know about this program because its developer contacted me and wanted to use some features of my extension.

There won't be need to actually download anything from your account :) It will be enough to just make the popup window responsive, and then you can continue with archiving yourself.

haha yes, thats' me :) Finally I got what's happening. When a user has a huge amount of chats, my request to Facebook servers just dies out. I never had too many chats myself, that's why I would never have figured it our without your help. Now I will have to fix my request correspondingly, and I would like to test it afterwards on your account, so that to understand that all works well.

OK I looked at it and it's apparent that the request that previously returned the Inbox data from Facebook servers now returns 500 error. Perhaps some parameters that before were optional have now become necessary. I will have a closer look at it tomorrow in the morning, now already leaving for home. Hope it's OK with you if I try logging in tomorrow again?

there is many other things that work different around me all the time, will try to get used with ti... if you can make deeper data flow also inspection.. to see if some extra scripts stick out that is run under my account

Must be Facebook rolls updates for some accounts while letting others be for the moment. Hey i have been testing with 3 different browser now,

with different settings (iridion, oper,a vivaldi)
and it just pops up the date selection but now buttons are working

might it be related to my own computer permissions of files or something ?
