I had read some of Anthony de Mello's work on Christian meditation -- fascinating guy! -- but I had never seen him before. Thank you so much for sharing this video.

I have no idea what that error message means. For me, it might as well be written in ... well, Estonian! :-) But I am glad that everything else is wonderful. :-)

Margus --

I think it is wonderful that your dream is to be a shaman -- to help people heal. But, unfortunately, I know very little about the shamanic traditions in the Balkans, and I really don't know anything about an Estonian goddess named Tara. I doubt that she is connected to the Indo-Tibetan goddess. Such similar names are often just a coincidence. But who knows?

I took a quick look at the discussion thread you pointed to. It raises many interesting questions. My personal belief is that the War on Drugs is expensive, ineffective, and counterproductive. I would not argue that DMT is "safe," whatever that means. But I would argue that weighing the balance of risk versus benefit in ingesting DMT -- or just about any psychoactive substance -- is best done by the individual and not by the state.

I really appreciate your reaching out to me. All blessings on your path.

Hello, i hope the radio link is OK on EroWid.org page? :)

Greetings from Estonia!
I am unfortunately not jet so familiar whit your work and books but i hope i will get my life to this track in future that i have opportunity to not only take time for reading real books like this but also dive in to this world to understand it more ... One of my new dreams about perfect profession (if it my called like this) is something similar to small time shaman - but it is kind of in the level of small boy dreams about being policeman or firefighter right with having really small knowledge what this 'profession' is all about.
Currently i spend my energy to this that other people would access/read all the useful information that i do not have time fully observe my self right now (i usually research author from Amazon to Wikipedia and internet forums and then will add it to "my book", this means - 'good to share and spread - helpful for others'.

This is my 2 cents for helping (my partly vision of) our consciousness/evolution/reality as much i can right now. I am working on one internet portal/information network currently that will be my life work. I do have one obstacle after another one that interferes with my mission.. but well, i hope there is reason for that (other then suggested one that this is benefiting some other powers who i am interfering whit..) and i will turn it for the better because of that in the end.

But besides this ... i was actually wanting to ask do you happen to know also any interesting info about Baltic region, Estonia ? I ask because of your Tara book and you seem to know a great deal of different bits from here and there.

have you heard anything about God name Taara in Estonia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tharapita & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_mythology) might have anything to do whit some other famous gods you have learned about? It does sound to different from Tara imho so i do not think it anything to do whit this... or is all that basically just village folklore that does not really need any serious reading or thoughts compared to the more famous ones?

One other question arise just some time ago. One person on this topic http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=84277460642&topic=6086 write that i should only try to "travel" with local shamans... is that true ? And why?
if i am on right track then local people related to healing is more in to different kind of magic and does not use things like ayahuasca but instead things like amanita and datura and other things that i consider to much of for me to get hand's on - not only because of the poisons properties but i think i would just not understand this world enough to benefit from this (i would like to first know more about psychedelics, entheogens and common drugs) . But you would be welcomed addition to this topic as someone who knows greater deal about things - if you have time. Personally i do feel that many things said there might be to far out...

Thank you for reading, and please give me some feedback if you have time :)
