frazzled could mean that-or very irritated like.
strong sensory input would be something like an offensive smell or really loud conversations

But then again, now looking it from another corner the first lousy 9 become 22 with some sift between in what i like and what i can handle
+ can one explain these 2 meanings:
My nervous system sometimes feels so 'frazzled' that I just have 'to go off by myself' (means going going ot of mind, mad?)
&
I am easily overwhelmed by 'strong sensory input'.

is it weird that i would find it strange that there are people who wouldn't say yes to all of the questions...?

Um... "You have indicated that 4 of the items are true of you." It's a tricky thing though, lots of layers to each of those potential disturbances in teh field. I find that the edge of the botherance tends to yield if I simply switch to conscious overdrive for the duration. (Which of course can induce supersonic stress symptoms in others; but they started it...) Otherwise, I'm a cheat with a portfolio of existential opt-out methods, and I bet I could score 30+ off that list on a good day of colliding causes and conditions. Like jumping into a black hole?

wow Charlotte, that is pretty high.
Apparently women score slightly higher than men, so I'm not surprised.
I'll keep a record of that in my "spare from the apocalypse" notebook.

You have indicated that 22 of the items are true of you.
Scoring:
If you answered more than fourteen of the questions as true of yourself, you are probably highly sensitive. But no psychological test is so accurate that an individual should base his or her life on it. We psychologists try to develop good questions, then decide on the cut off based on the average response.
If fewer questions are true of you, but extremely true, that might also justify calling you highly sensitive.
