Good day everyone, hope you all well, safe and in good health. Im Natasha, Freddy and Moira's eldest daughter. Today im circulating this letter in the hope that all volunteers past and present could help us help my parents as they have reached an extremelly low point in their lives, many of you know that Freddy and Moira are very proud people and wont ask or talk about problems they face in life as they believe that they need to see to the needs of all who comes into their home and lives. My parents are being evicted from the home they live in but are not financially able to find another place to live. I know you are proberbly wondering but dont they get pension and dont Moira work? Well Freddy does not qualify for a pension because Moira is a government employee. Moira goes on pension next year but will be getting a very small amount of money and iv looked at the amount she will get out how ever she owes the taxman R120 000.00 so my mom only gets about R250 000.00 to live from. This every humiliating for me to do this as my parents raised us to never ask or beg how ever i cannot look at how they are honestly suffering and cant even afford food in the house. Im asking today to please help. I have been thinking of raising funds to help buy a small house where they can then use the one room to keep open for ex volunteers to come back and visit as you guys are who keeps my parents going in life. Past and present volunteers my parents are struggling in a very very bad way and i honestly dont know who else to turn to for help and have been struggling to bring myself to write this letter to ask for help.
